Character Workshop

Lots of people ask how Katy builds a character, so she thought this workshop would be a great introduction to the process she uses.

The workshop will start with sketching from a group of objects; then we'll look at shapes, how they fit together and how to build a character from our observations. We'll add personalty and illustrate the character moving, interacting with its surroundings and other characters. If you would like to you can bring along a picture of your favourite character and we'll look at how to 'de-construct' and then 're-construct' the character with what we've learnt.
