BRAND NEW FOR AUTUMN - 4 week Pottery Evening Course.

We are delighted to have Ellie back with us for a 4 week Evening Course. You'll complete a range of different projects including a pinch pot vase, s'graffitto dish, Christmas decorations and throwing on the wheel - learning different skills each week.

Week 1:
Group A - Making and decorating hand-rolled Christmas decorations and gift tags.
Group B - Learn how to prep clay, throw a pot on the wheel, trim your thrown piece and add a handle.

Week 2:
Group A - Learn how to prep clay, throw a pot on the wheel, trim your thrown piece and add a handle.
Group B - Making and decorating hand-rolled Christmas decorations and gift tags.

Week 3: Sgraffito Dish - Create a unique design on a dish using the Sgraffito technique - carving away layers of colour to reeal the raw clay underneath.

Week 4: Your thrown pieces will now have been bisque fired. Decorate these pieces using underglaze and learn how to glaze pots using the dipping method. If you don't wish to glaze your thrown pieces then you will have the opportunity to make a pinch pot vase.

The cost of the course includes all clay, firing and glazing costs.
