I'm Travelling Some Distance, Is There Somewhere to Stay?

We love it when you come to visit us from further away! There are two great hotels in the centre of Market Harborough, just minutes walk away from the Craft Centre.

The Three Swans Hotel & Restaurant - Market Harborough, Leicestershire 

This is our closest hotel and a luxury option with a lovely bar and restaurant.

Travelodge | Market Harborough hotel - Market Harborough hotels

More of a budget option, but still very central and the Craft Centre and numerous restaurants are within 4-5 minutes walk.

What Will I Need For the Courses?

For most courses - just yourself! The price of all the materials you need are included in the course fee. For some of the dressmaking courses you may be asked to provide a pattern and fabric of your choice so that you are making something you know you will like and wear.

Do I Need My Own Sewing Machine?
No, there is no need to lug your own sewing machine around - we have eight beautiful new Brother machines for you to use. Of course, you may bring your own if you particularly wish to do so.

Can I Bring My Own Fabric?

If you have something special you would like to use you are most welcome to bring it along.

What If a Course is cancelled?

We reserve the right to cancel a course if we have insufficient applicants, or the tutor is unwell and we are unable to find a replacement tutor. In such cases you will be given the option to transfer to another course or take a refund.

What if I can't come on the course I have booked?

Our terms and conditions are that we only offer refunds in the event of a course being cancelled due to insufficient numbers of applicants or unforseeable circumstances. Once you have booked and paid for a course it is otherwise nonrefundable and nontransferable.

In very exceptional circumstances we may be able to resell a space, if we have a waiting list. Then we will issue a refund less a 5% administration charge.

I want to come on a Course but I can't make the Date Specified - What Can I Do?

If you can organise some friends (minimum 4) we can hold a special one-off course for you on a date of your choice. Or you can organise a one-to-one session (see below).

Can your Tutors Help with Specific Projects?

Yes - tutors are available for one-to-one sessions at £35 per hour. These can be booked via the website, or give us a call on 01858 466692 to discuss your requirements.

My child is attending a workshop - do I need to stay with them?

You don't need to stay with your child for the workshop - dropping off is actually preffered as it ensures all adults present are DBS checked. We of course understand some children will not want to be left, particually for our Little Crafters classes as these have a younger age range.
